Welcome to our Blog


“Otosan, eyyy!” is the story of three musketeers of the kitchen united by a common passion for food. Whether we are talking about ingredients, cuisines from various parts of the globe, cooking techniques, or the story behind dishes, it is with the same goal, to share what we’ve discovered with like-minded people who share similar interests.

This blog differs from many others in the way that it is not the product of one mind and two hands, but rather 3 brains and 3 pairs of hands. Each of us comes from a different background, has his own take on food and on what they want to share. In this way, this blog is like Dr Frankenstein’s monster, bits and pieces from different places, all put together, and maybe creating a less than orthodox, yet vibrant mix.

That being said, this rather colorful blend will have something for everyone, whether it is modern French recipes, cuisines from the world, and even some of the most random fusion recipes you can think of (have you ever mixed Peruvian ceviche and a Thai green curry? Thai-Ruvian is a thing here, buckle up, you’re in for a ride!) One word on the title, as abstruse as it may sound, it reflects our philosophy: having fun in the kitchen (“eyyy” for the insiders) and cooking for the people you care, even in your in-laws! (“Otosan” being an actual father in-law in our case).
